Details have been announced by Hebden Royd Town Council (HRTC) of a small grants scheme available to support local organisations working to mitigate the effects of the Coronavirus outbreak on the most vulnerable in our community.
Considering the present circumstances HRTC is eager to support local projects looking to provide direct and immediate practical support for vulnerable groups during the Coronavirus pandemic and will prioritise such projects.
If your organisation seeks to provide relief and support to people in Hebden Royd who are at risk of hardship because of the Coronavirus crisis, or perhaps you already provide support and these services are stretched due to the outbreak, HRTC urges community groups to apply for the small grants aid scheme.
Councillor Dr Carol Stow, Mayor of Hebden Royd, said:
"Our priority, as always, is to support our local community. We have simplified and speeded up our grant processes in response to these unprecedented times so that we can rapidly channel financial aid to appropriate local organisations. We know there is wonderful work going on and we want to support that work."
To apply for a grant and for further information please contact the Town Clerk, Jason Boom via email info@hebdenroydtowncouncil.gov.uk and this website's Community Funding section
