
Allotment gardening is a great way to spend time outdoors. Exercise, socialising and growing your own herbs, fruits and vegetables are some of the many benefits that come from working an allotment plot.
Hebden Royd Town Council Administer two allotment sites in the area: Banksfield in Mytholmroyd and High Hirst in Hebden Bridge. There are 50 plots in total. These sites are leased by Hebden Royd Town Council from Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council.
Allotment fees are £65.00 per annum with a water charge of £10.00 per annum on the High Hirst site (there is no mains water supply at Banksfield).
There are currently 21 people on the allotment waiting list.
If you are a resident of Hebden Royd and enrolled on the Electoral Roll you can apply for an allotment plot.
