HRTC plays a significant role in supporting, maintaining and promoting the local environment and plays a vital role in the ongoing delivery of a range of greenspace projects and local environmental enhancements.
HRTC oversees the management of allotments, High Hirst Woodmeadow, and a range of environmental and biodiversity initiatives to enhance our local communities. Underpinning all of this work is a strong focus on climate, supporting the Town Council to ensure the reduction of its carbon footprint.
