Hebden Royd Town Council is looking to recruit a proactive individual to continue to manage and develop the Town Council projects, including Allotments, Hanging Baskets, Festive Lights, special events, commemorations and to develop the neighbourhood plan, in conjunction with the Hill Top Parishes. During this period of maternity cover the successful applicant will act as an interface for the general public on council matters.
The successful applicant will hold a degree or have equivalent experience and be experienced in working with community groups, local authority agencies, including planning authorities, and other appropriate partners. Experience in sourcing funding for public initiatives along with sound project management skills and strong communication skills are essential. Excellent organisational skills are also seen as an essential requirement.
Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for which time off in lieu can be taken.
