New councillors

At the meeting of the full council of Hebden Royd Town Council on Wednesday the 23rd October 2013 the council took the decision to co-opt two local people on to the council.

The vacant seat in the Caldene Ward was filled by returning councillor Robin Dixon with a unanimous vote with the vacant seat in the White Lee Ward being filled by Andrew Halewood who also received a unanimous vote.

The meeting also saw the election of Cllr Jonathan Timbers to the seat of Deputy Mayor with Cllr Nigel Yorke standing down due to work and family commitments.
