The Picture House is getting ready for its first full season of Live Broadcasts starting with the National Theatre Live's 2011 broadcast of Frankenstein.
To allow patrons to view the programme the Picture House is publishing a full programme of its first season of Live Broadcasts. Running from October 2013 until September 2014 it covers National Theatre, Royal Opera House and Royal Shakespeare Live all to be shown at the Picture House.
Frankenstein, directed by Oscar-winner Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire) and staring Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek: Into Darkness, BBC's Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Trainspotting). The production sees the actors alternating the roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation (Cumberbatch plays Victor and Lee Miller takes the role of Creature on 31st October, with these roles being reversed on 3rd December).
