New Hebden Royd Youth Hub to offer
job support for young people

The Jobcentre Plus Youth Hub Work Coach will help young jobseekers access local training and job opportunities, as well as a range of services to address wellbeing needs. This tailored support will help to reach even more young jobseekers in the Hebden Royd community, who are facing employment challenges due to the pandemic.

The Youth Hub will be in Mytholmroyd Community Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 1pm – 5pm on the following dates: 3rd November, 17 November, 1st December and 15th December. Appointments are available by contacting Matt on matthew.clarke12@DWP.gov.uk

Matt Clarke, Hebden Royd Youth Hub Work Coach said: “If you’d like help with your job search, advice about your Universal Credit claim or would like to find out more about the great Kickstart opportunities which are available, then please book an appointment.”

The service will be working alongside the already established C&K careers weekly drop-in sessions, funded by Hebden Royd Town Council and run by Sarah Bruce a qualified Careers Adviser.

As well as offering telephone and on-line advice sessions, Sarah is available to see face-to-face at weekly careers drop-in sessions at Mytholmroyd Community Centre every Wednesday from 1.00pm - 5.00pm.

If you feel that you, your children or young people that you work with could benefit from these additional services, please contact Sarah Bruce on 07812 971818 or email workreadyhebdenroyd@ckcareers.org.uk
