Notice is hereby given that the Annual Town Meeting for the Township of Hebden Royd will be held REMOTELY on WEDNESDAY the 24th day of MARCH 2021 at 7.30pm.

The business of the meeting will be as follows: -

  1. Welcome from the Mayor of Hebden Royd, Cllr Val Stevens
    The Mayor will explain the arrangements for the Annual Town Meeting.

  4. Minutes of Annual Town Meeting – 4th March 2020

  5. Slow the Flow
    The group will be updating the meeting with news of a new Masters Bursary at Leeds University, the Natural Flood Management Grant Fund and work to encourage more funding to use natural processes for flood alleviation, as well as the continuing search for new Slow the Flow trustees.

  6. Climate Emergency Committee
    The work of the past twelve months will be covered with focus on the High Hirst Woodland Meadow, promotion of Hebden Royd as a transport hub and the soon to be installed additional cycle parking. Other elements of the action plan will also be covered (enc).

  7. Recovery Committee

    To hear of the progress being made to support the ‘reopening’ of Hebden Royd following the easing of restrictions as a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

  8. Questions for the council from electors in the parish.
