The August Bank Holiday weekend saw the start of the Hebden Bridge Camera Club Annual Exhibition. But for the first time, because of Covid-19, the exhibition is online.

Usually Hebden Royd's Mayor, Cllr Val Stevens, has officially opened the exhibition.

Mayor of Hebden Royd, Cllr Val Stevens, said to the Hebden Bridge Camera Club: "As the newly elected Mayor of Hebden Royd Town Council I am really disappointed not to be with you in person. I know that the Photographic Exhibition is usually a highlight of the Summer local calendar. I hope however that many people will still access the online event and see for themselves the high-quality work displayed. Best wishes for next year."

Jennifer J Hartshorn, Exhibition Co-Ordinator of HBCC commented: "One positive that does arise from the current situation is that we can now share our exhibition with family, friends and connections far beyond Hebden Bridge and even internationally."  

The Annual Exhibition will showcase members' work including digital and film images and can be viewed at www.hebdenbridgecc.co.uk.
