Every year Hebden Royd Town Council (HRTC) invites local businesses to take part in the hanging basket scheme, helping to ensure that our towns are an attractive place for both visitors and residents alike.
Due to the coronavirus, HRTC agreed that businesses would need as much support as possible when lockdown was eased, and that the well-being of the town's residents and visitors was paramount.
Emma Green, Neighbourhood Manager said: "This year HRTC was delighted to provide a hanging basket for free to local businesses, to brighten up the streets and shop fronts around Hebden Royd."
Emma continued: "The baskets have blossomed beautifully over the summer and are a real asset to our towns, environment and insect-life too."
Each year over 300 baskets and planters are put up across Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd. Each basket will be fully maintained and watered by the Hebden Royd Town Council to ensure that they continue to look their best throughout the summer.
