The White Bird Project

Hebden Royd Town Council and Handmade Parade have teamed up to deliver this fantastic new project which will mark the centenary of the end of WW1 and be a visual celebration of PEACE by the people of our town.

Look out for a number of workshops which will be advertised on 'The White Bird Project' Facebook page at which you will have the chance to make one of the many small white birds, each with a personal message of peace or hope inside.

The huge flock will then form a stunning and thought provoking installation in the court yard of the Town Hall, Hebden Bridge.

There will also be a small event on the evening of Sunday 4th November in Hebden Bridge square, where we will invite participants to come together and view their collaborative work.
