Mayor's Charity Cheque

The Retiring Mayor of Hebden Royd, Cllr Pat Fraser at the Annual Meeting of the Town Council on Wednesday 6th May invited her charity, Andy's Man Club to the stage and presented them with a cheque for £2075.20, funds raised during the year to support their work. Andy's Man Club provides a safe place for men to meet and talk every Monday, except Bank Holidays, at 7pm in Hebden Bridge Town Hall. 

Andy's Man Club is the creator of the #ITSOKAYTOTALK campaign and in this Mental Awareness Week their aim is to get people talking about mental health.

Regular collections at the Fox & Goose Pub, the Mayors Civic Dinner and numerous donations have all contributed to the amount raised.
