A New Mayor

Councillor Tony Hodgins takes the chain as the new Mayor of Hebden Royd with his partner Hazel Scriven as his Mayoress.  Councillor Pat Fraser will be his deputy and her consort for the year will be Councillor John Dunford.

Councillor Hodgins has selected Calder Valley Search and Rescue as his official charity and he shall be fundraising throughout the year.

Mayor making

The annual Mayor Making ceremony was held at the Waterfront Hall, Hebden Bridge Town Hall on Wednesday 18th May.
