New Mayor for Hebden Royd Town Council

At a meeting of the Town Council on Wednesday16th September Cllr Karl Boggis stood down as Mayor of Hebden Royd Town Council to allow him more time to spend with his young family.

Council sadly accepted his resignation and thanked him for all the hard work he had done since the May 2015 elections.

His deputy Cllr James Fearon was duly elected as Mayor of Hebden Royd for the remainder of the council year with a unanimous vote. Cllr Fearon thanked the Town Council for their support and looked forward to his year ahead. Cllr Tony Hodgin was elected as Deputy Mayor.
