CROWS repairs steps on Mytholm Steeps

On behalf of Hebden Royd Town Council, local volunteer group CROWS (Community Rights of Way Service) last week repaired some steps on Mytholm Steeps, Hebden Bridge after it was identified that they were in a poor state of repair. The steps are not a registered Public Right of Way and the owners responsible for the maintenance of the steps were unable to be found.

StepsHowever, as it is a popular route used by people wishing to avoid the bend on Glen View Road where there is no public footway, the Town Council decided to pay for repairs to the most damaged sections in order to keep the route open.

The Town Council hope that this is appreciated, and is enjoyed by everyone.
