Hebden Royd Town Council (HRTC) is delighted to announce that Hebden Royd-based community organisations can now book a FREE Saving Money by Living Greener community conversation for their members. These hour-long discussions will be facilitated by Rachel Lightbird, Climate Emergency and Biodiversity Coordinator for HRTC.
Ecologically economical
Rachel can now be booked to visit your community group meetings to facilitate conversations that focus on exploring ways Hebden Royd residents can save money, save energy, and save the planet. Participants will also be invited to share their own practical suggestions for reducing waste, lowering carbon footprints, and saving money within their own homes and community.
To kick start the discussions, Rachel will bring 6 A3 A boards, displaying colourful and funky visuals produced by local artist Rachel Red. These innovative and eye-catching illustrations have been specifically created to act as distinctive centre pieces for Hebden Royd money saving/climate emergency community conversations. Each focuses on a theme, such as sustainable travel, energy, food, consumption, waste, nature and biodiversity, as these issues impact on the Hebden Royd area.
HRTC's 'Saving Money by Living Greener' talk is a fantastic opportunity for community organisations to engage, inform and educate their members around ways they can save money this winter, and take practical steps towards a more sustainable future.
