Hebden Royd Town Council residents are cordially invited to a special community gathering to celebrate the work completed to date at Hebden Royd Town Council's biodiversity hotspot, High Hirst Woodmeadow.

The Opening & Unveiling Ceremony of the new level access path, interpretation panels, and other signage will take place at the new Viewing Area at the top of the site, Thursday, 20 April, 1.30pm.

Volunteers, the mayor, local councillors, and local school children who contributed their wildlife and nature designs to the interpretation panels, will also be in attendance. Hebden Royd Town Council is grateful to the National Lottery's 'Together for our Planet' Award for their contribution to these developments.

Refreshments for all will be available at Hebden Bridge IOU Hostel from 2pm onwards. Please note that the nearest toilet facilities and shelter can also be found at the IOU hostel, a five-minute walk from the site.
