Charity Ceilidh Raises Funds for Junior Football Club

The Mayor’s Charity Ceilidh, held on Saturday, 8 March at Mytholmroyd Community Centre, was a sell-out success, bringing the community together for a night of lively music, dancing, and fundraising.

The event raised over £1200 for the Mayor’s chosen charity, Hebden Bridge Saints Junior Association Football Club, helping to support young players in the local area. Attendees enjoyed a brilliant evening of traditional ceilidh dancing, thanks to talented musicians the PeaceWork Band and an enthusiastic crowd.

The Mayor expressed gratitude to everyone who attended, and to Chunky’s Kitchen for catering the event, as well as Mytholmroyd Community Centre staff at who made the night possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event.
