As part of Hebden Royd Town Council’s refreshed festive programme for 2026, residents are invited to kick off the festive season at one of two Christmas Lights Switch On celebrations.

Enjoy an afternoon of festive entertainment featuring family-friendly acts, fun and games with compere Dave, school choirs and performances from local talent. The event also includes a Christmas fayre with stalls from local makers before the community gathers for the countdown to switch on the Christmas lights.
Hebden Bridge Christmas Lights Switch On

St George’s Square, Hebden Bridge
Join the countdown and enjoy festive entertainment, family activities, local performers and seasonal cheer as the town centre lights up for Christmas.
