Hebden Royd Green Network initial meeting
In January 2026, Hebden Royd Town Council held an informal meeting to welcome representatives from a wide range of environmental groups across Hebden Royd, alongside local charities, Friends of groups, and officers from Calderdale Council and the Hilltop Parishes. The meeting explored the idea of forming a Hebden Royd Green Network.
The session provided a great opportunity to connect, learn more about the environmentally focused work already taking place across Hebden Royd, share positive stories and experiences, and identify potential future projects and opportunities for closer collaboration.
We were delighted with the strong turnout, with groups expressing a clear appetite for the Green Network. The ideas and priorities shared during the meeting will help shape the next steps as the network begins to develop 🌱
