Christine Jackson retires

After almost 23 years of dedicated service, Hebden Royd Town Council will be saying farewell one of their greatest assets, as Christine Jackson takes her well
deserved retirement.

Over the years Christine has played a significant role in the Town Council, keeping 23 Mayors in order, making sure that they attend the correct engagements, as well as organising countless civic events such as the Christmas Tree Lights Switch On and Mayors Fund-raising events.

Most importantly, she has been there to support the various clerks of the council from Auriol McDougall in 1989 to the present clerk, Jason Boom.

There have been many changes over the years - faces that have come and gone, and there have been changes to the town, as the council has developed in to what it is today.

Everyone here at Hebden Royd Town Council will miss Christine very much but she is wished a very happy retirement
